ABOUT HOLY ANGELS
Director & Founder
Founder of School's Welcome,
We are grateful for your interest in Holy Angels. Ours is a special school community, unique in its concept and design. Together, we founded Holy Angels of the Hudson Valley in the spring of 2011. The concept of a small faith-based school was born out of necessity after the closing of the local catholic school. We believe in the value and importance of a religious education, with a tight-knit, passionate community.
We work together, with each student and faculty member, to help each other succeed. We believe in creating a small compassionate environment that offers exceptional learning, personal growth and fulfillment.
Each day, we greet our students at the front door, and personally escort our Pre-K students to their classrooms. We gather the school age students at the start of each day for morning announcements, the Pledge of Allegiance, and to sing patriotic songs. If it is a student’s birthday, we enjoy having the school sing “Happy Birthday”! This tradition shared among students and faculty invites interaction and celebration.
We also stress the importance of educating outside the classroom. Teachers take students on field trips throughout the community, as well as beyond. Trips to orchards for apple picking and to local historic monuments are just a few stops throughout the year.
Family involvement is highly encouraged and we invite you to visit the classroom anytime. We enjoy visits for reading, celebrating birthdays and other activities.
Please feel free to book a private tour before completing your application.

Holy Angels of the Hudson Valley is a private Christian (Catholic based) school near West Point, NY (USMA) in Highland Falls, New York.
Holy Angels of the Hudson Valley believes that all students can learn and be successful. We place Jesus at the center of our academic curriculum and spirit of teaching. We want to ensure our vision of success is realized for all. It is our goal to provide our students with the means to become faithful Christians, loving family members, and compassionate and responsible leaders of their community.
"If students do not learn the way we teach,
we must teach them the way they learn."
In January of 2011, the Archdiocese of New York ordered the doors of Sacred Heart of Jesus School to be closed. Many families were forced to seek a faith based education outside of the town of Highland Falls.
In late May of 2011, parents seeking a local faith based education for their children came together to review home school options. Through countless discussions of the most desirable solution, the application for a private charter school surfaced and Holy Angels of the Hudson Valley was born.
